The backstage altercation between Caleb Plant and Jermall Charlo has received much attention from fans. Conor McGregor expressed dissatisfaction with Charlo’s response to being slapped in the face.

The incident occurred at the official weigh-ins of the much-anticipated boxing match between Errol Spence Jr. and Terence Crawford. Video footage showed former super middleweight champion Caleb Plant hitting current middleweight champ Jermall Charlo in the face. Charlo, however, didn’t seem to be triggered by Caleb’s actions and seemed to want to calm this situation down.

Many fans were impressed at Charlo’s presence of mind and preference to stay peaceful. But some other celebs like UFC star Conor McGregor thought otherwise. The Irishman tweeted, “Get right back here this second, sir, you’re going nowhere till we settle this dispute here and now. Wtf is going on there? Clean cracked and lets him walk out? No. Nope. Nah. Not a f****n hope.”

Whether this was an act of cowardice from Jermall Charlo or not doesn’t matter at the end of the day. Such a response by the boxing champion will send a positive message of non-violence to the youth out there.

Conor McGregor decided to cook a large meal for his team to boost the team’s morale and celebrate the victory. The meal was a traditional Irish dish but with a twist. The UFC star chose to use Beer instead of water as one of the main ingredients in the dish.

Regardless of the experiment, McGregor and his team enjoyed the dish and the meeting. Let’s hope such events help Conor improve his life instead of acting irresponsibly in very public settings.
