An audio clip of Conor McGregor reacting to the boxing bout between Dillon Danis and Logan Paul is going the rounds on social media. Danis lost the bout by disqualification in the highly anticipated boxing bout. McGregor is friends with Dillon Danis.
McGregor said, “Are yous not entertained, are yous not entertained. I was impressed,” of Dillon Danis. Furthermore, he blasted Logan Paul. “You’re still in a dark spot. You’re doing nothing, You’re doing nothing.”The Irishman had earlier tweeted Danis to use grappling techniques in the bout. Interestingly, the disqualification came after a melee broke out after Danis went for a guillotine choke in the 6th and final round. The attempt was an awful attempt to mimic Nate Diaz when he fought Jake Paul.
The bout between Danis and Paul went as the betting insiders predicted. Paul, the favorite, peppered Danis with shots to the head and body. Danis, on the other hand, landed less than 20 strikes on Paul throughout the fight. Many viewed Danis’ performance as even lower than sub-par. Furthermore, his antics inside the ring also irritated the fans. It remains to be seen whether any promotion would book Danis for a fight, even with his association with Conor McGregor.
Danis was the Jiu-Jitsu coach of McGregor during his bouts since fighting Nate Diaz. McGregor already has an existing feud with the Paul brothers, especially Jake Paul. Moreover, he is also known for his unyielding support for Dillon Danis. Danis and McGregor notably hung out with Cristiano Ronaldo.
Dillon Danis’ awful attempt to replicate Nate Diaz’s guillotine choke
The highly anticipated boxing bout between Logan Paul and Dillon Danis ended with Paul winning by disqualification. The combat sports community bashed Danis for his performance. Everyone sans Conor McGregor brutally roasted Danis on social media. The antics of Danis were even more cringy than his social media posts.
An acclaimed Jiu-Jitsu practitioner, Danis could not even grab a guillotine choke on Paul. Nate Diaz infamously caught Jake Paul in a guillotine choke in their boxing bout. It was in the last round of the bout that Diaz was losing. Danis, too, was losing the bout, but his guillotine attempt put him on the canvas, and Paul threw a punch at Danis on the ground but missed.
Nate Diaz won admiration on social media with the guillotine on Jake Paul. However, Dillon Danis was brutally trolled for his failed attempt. Furthermore, it remains to be seen what Danis does after losing the bragging rights to Logan Paul. Danis had infamously targeted Nina Agdal, the fiancee of Logan Paul, on social media.
