Subsequently, a fight between Haye and Chisora was arranged for July 14 at the Boleyn Ground Stadium. The fight announcement garnered mixed reactions, with support from figures like Ricky Hatton and Frank Warren, Chisora’s manager, but also faced criticism and potential license revocation threats from the WBC and other boxing authorities.
