Boxing star Deontay Wilder has given his fans an amazing surprise. Wilder is currently one of the biggest names in boxing and has been the WBC heavyweight champion from 2015 to 2020 and made 10 successful title defenses. Wilder was the first American heavyweight champion after 2007, and it was the longest in the history of boxing without an American heavyweight champion.

Wilder represented the U.S.A. in the 2008 Beijing Olympics and won a bronze medal. Despite starting boxing at 20, Deontay made a huge name for himself in the boxing world. After winning the belt in 2015, Deontay defended it 10 times before he lost to Tyson Fury in February 2020. Wilder again fought fury on 9th October 2021, but Fury again won the fight via eleventh round knockout.

Deontay Wilder cleared he will return to the ring despite various rumors that he will retire. Deontay Wilder said that he will fight again by the end of this year. However, rather than announcing a fight, Wilder has dropped his first music track and has surprised his fans. Deontay announced his song on his Instagram account and revealed that the song will feature his younger brother, Marsellos Wilder. Deontay announced that the music will realize on 19th June and will stream on all major streaming platforms.

After his loss against Tyson Fury, Deontay teased his retirement. However, he has confirmed he will return to the ring this year. Deontay announced his return as he unveils a statue of himself in his hometown in Alabama.

Fight promoter Eddie Hearn has expressed his happiness about Wilder’s return to the ring and he believes Wilder’s decision to keep going has paved the way for several big match-ups in the division. In his recent interview with iFL TV, Eddie Hearn said: “I’m so happy he’s back because if you look at the fights with Wilder, it’s breathtaking. Obviously, the AJ fight is a tremendous fight.”

Eddie talked about a potential matchup with Dillian Whyte and Andy Ruiz and many other fighters. He said: “Wilder against Dillian Whyte, Wilder against Andy Ruiz, which should be straightforward to make. Wilder against [Derek] Chisora, Wilder against [Joseph] Parker, Wilder against Joe Joyce, Wilder against Daniel Dubois.”
