Anthony Joshua will get his much needed rematch against Oleksandr Usyk on August 20 this year in Saudi Arabia. The pair faced each other last year when Usyk defeated the Brit by unanimous decision and the fight turned out to be a massive upset. Joshua immediately asked for a rematch the he deserved but due to many reasons it got delayed. First there were rumours about Joshua to step out so that Usyk and Tyson Fury can have their fight for title unification.
Later, Usyk went back to his home country Ukraine to help his people against the Russian invasion. The fighter took arms and defended his country like a true hero in these dire conditions.
Finally, the fight is going to take place in Jeddah and is being marketed as ‘Rage on the Red Sea’. The hype around the fight is massive as both fighters will do their best to win. For Joshua who previously won a fight against Andy Ruiz at the same venue, it is a chance to get revenge on the Ukrainian. On the other hand, Usyk will look forward to continuing his domination and representing his country at the highest platform of combat sports.
Deontay Wilder on the Usyk vs Joshua rematch

Deontay Wilder recently did an interview with ESnews Where he opened up about his thoughts on the upcoming heavyweight mega showdown.
Wilder clearly stated that he is going to support Usyk in the fight. According to Wilder, after watching the first fight many people will incline toward Usyk. But Wilder also explained that it’s boxing and anything can happen inside the ring but still is going to go with Usyk. He said :
“I’m going with Usyk here, man. I’m going with Usyk, and I think many people are. You know, it’s boxing at the end of the day, so you know – we’ll see. But I think it’s Usyk.”
Wilder has been out of the sport since he lost to Fury last year and currently hasn’t announced anything regarding his comeback. However, there is a high possibility the ‘ Bronze Bomber ‘ might get motivated after watching this fight and decides to break the silence on his hiatus.
