In the buildup to their title bout on April 20th, Ryan Garcia has been the talk of the town. As such, his antics and erratic behavior have caused people to question whether he is focused. Garcia has maintained that he is okay and is working hard every day. However, now his rival Devin Haney has claimed that Garcia is still fat and not in shape 17 days ahead of the fight. In recent posts, Garcia has denied allegations that he’s not in shape, but doubts still linger. 

The doubts about his fitness started after Garcia uploaded a video of him shadowboxing with the influencer boxer Deen the Great. Normally, in most of Garcia’s social media pictures, he flexes his muscles, so it is difficult to understand his weight. However, in the video, Garcia is performing fluid shadowboxing while keeping his body loose. This prompted Haney to point out that Garcia is out of shape.

There are less than three weeks until the fight, but according to Haney, his rival is still out of shape. The reason behind this can be his lack of focus, mental health, or alcohol usage. KingRy responded to the concerns brought up by Haney by stating that he has never missed weight. Hence, he plans to continue this trend for the weigh-in of the Haney fight.

Garcia stated this with a shirtless photo of his shredded upper body. Devin Haney took notice of this, retweeted the post, and called out Garcia. As such, Haney asked Garcia not to push down his body fat with his hands to mislead people. In addition, Haney stated that Garcia has a history of making weight days.

Haney is set to make his first title defense of his WBC super-lightweight title against his old rival, Garcia. The fight is almost here, and both fighters keep snapping at each other. Amid this, KingRy has even threatened to bite Haney’s ear.

Similarly, Garcia also stated that he intends to kill or finish off Haney. The Dream responded to this threat by stating that Garcia might end up dead trying to kill him. Haney also mentioned that sometimes, when you want something, it backfires on you. 

Furthermore, Haney stated that Garcia might run into something that he can’t get up from. This indicated that Garcia might end up getting knocked out if he is not cautious around him. Haney has also previously mentioned how he is well acquainted with Garcia’s fighting style and that it hasn’t changed since they were amateurs.
