Devin Haney and Ryan Garcia have embarked on a war of words to promote their upcoming fight. Their rivalry started when they competed as amateurs. Now, they are ready to settle the score as professional boxers. Furthermore, Haney has repeatedly downplayed Garcia’s boxing skills. ‘The Dream’ took it to a whole new level by comparing Garcia and Jake Paul

Throughout the buildup of the fight, Garcia exhibited concerning behavior that made people wary of his performance. ‘KingRy’ dismissed these concerns and instead proclaimed that he plans on hurting Haney badly. ‘The Dream’ remains unfazed by Garcia’s comments and remains confident in his skills. As such, Haney now discredited Garcia by claiming Jake Paul was better.

Jake Paul actually trains. I know Jake Paul well and he trains and he's focused. Jake Paul closer to me than Ryan.

Haney started off by stating that they would see if Garcia made videos for tick-tock or trained extensively when the fight happened. The host from Real 92.3 LA then asked Haney if Ryan Garcia had decent skills as a boxer. Haney’s comment aimed to get a reaction from Garcia. Just less than two weeks from the fight, more attention will lead to better PPV buys.

So far, Devin Haney has taken a backseat to promote the fight against Garcia. King Ry uses his social media antics to bring more attention to the fight. Many consider it as big as the upcoming fights, such as Canelo Alvarez vs. Jaime Munguia and Tyson Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk. Hence, Haney faces a big-time test, and losing would result in humiliation. Only time will tell if Haney regrets making such claims about Garcia’s boxing skills.

Devin Haney talks about Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole’s beef

The rivalry between Haney and Garcia has captivated the boxing world. Similarly, Kendrick Lamar‘s beef with J. Cole and Drake has also captivated the hip-hop world. During his interview with Real 92.3 LA, Haney spoke about the beef between the rapper and their diss songs.

The conversation started after one of the hosts asked Haney about J. Cole’s recent diss tracks about Lamar. Haney revealed that he hasn’t heard it yet, possibly due to his training camp. This also indicated that Haney heard Lamar’s diss track, which targeted Drake and Cole.

In addition, Haney mentioned that people found it underwhelming compared to Lamar’s diss track. ‘The Dream’ also spoke about how Drake is being targeted in the hip-hop world. According to Haney, people tend to come at you when they sense weakness. Haney’s vested interest in the hip-hop community will have to take a backseat to boxing as he faces a huge threat in Ryan Garcia.
