The champion and the challenger met at the MGM Grand Garden Arena for their final face-off. Devin Haney and Vasiliy Lomachenko will compete for the undisputed lightweight title. The weigh-in started in a cool environment, but the face-off surprised everyone.

After the ceremonial weigh-in, Devin Haney shoved Loma for no reason. The Ukrainian traveled back some distance before the security caught him from falling. Fans speculated that Haney waited a long time to fight Loma and decided to play one final mind trick before their bout. Haney has talked plenty of trash-talk against Loma, including racially insensitive comments.

The 24-year-old Haney has an undefeated record of 30-0. The shove only added excitement to the lightweight title fight. Securities are always involved in a face-off to de-escalate a heated moment like this on stage. However, Vasiliy Lomachenko kept his composure as he smiled back and remained calm.
