It seems like Tyson Fury can’t catch a break. His opponents at times find it hard to accept defeat after he hands it to him. First Wladimir Klitschko followed by Deontay Wilder and now Dillan Whyte. Dillan Whyte has come in a new set of issues and has demanded a rematch.

In Tyson Fury vs Dillan Whyte, Fury hit an oncoming Dillian Whyte with a stiff jab and immediately followed it with a blazing right uppercut. He won the bout via knockout in the sixth round.

‘Gypsy King’ hinted at a possible retirement from the sport after the bout. He is going out with a memorable performance and then publicly announcing his retirement. In the post-fight, he said, “I’ve won every belt there is to win. If this was a computer game it would definitely be completed for sure.”

If Saturday should be the final farewell, Fury goes out on the sweetest and nastiest sixth-round uppercut to annul mandatory challenger Whyte in the bout.

Whyte has chosen not to accept his defeat and is contending to make a comeback for a shot at the title once again. He stated, that he should have received extra time to recover after he was “pushed” by Fury prior to his stoppage at his fight. In an interview, he stated the following, “I was buzzed but obviously I was trying to regather my senses and he proper pushed me and I fell over and hit my head on the canvas which is illegal.”

He further added, “I kept on getting all the blame. He was the one that was holding, he was the one that was head-butting and being dirty in the fight.” He is contending for a rematch however that seems unlikely, what isn’t unlikely is a fighter accepting a true defeat and this is just another day in the sport of boxing.
