Dillon Danis pulls out of boxing match against KSI
Dillon Danis is playing catchup with YouTube sensations. The Bellator MMA has been wanting to fight one of the YouTube stars in a boxing ring and even came close to fighting one in Jake Paul. After failing to get the deal done with Jake, Danis is now aiming at KSI for a matchup inside the octagon.
KSI is one of the pioneers of the genre of YouTube boxing. The British YouTuber has had two fights against fellow YouTuber, Logan Paul, who also went on to fight the great Floyd Mayweather in a boxing match. JJ/KSI is now set to fight out his rival, Alex Wassabi in a boxing match in the upcoming days promoted by DAZN Boxing. In a promotional video, the YouTuber was asked who he would want to check off his hit-list and he named drop the Bellator MMA fighter.
“We’ve got Jake Paul, Dillon Danis, Austin McBroom, and other pus**es that want it,” said JJ Olatunji in the video. JJ and Alex are set to face each other on August 27th this year which can be viewed on DAZN Boxing. After being called out by the British YouTube boxer, Danis has responded to the video in his recent tweet and the MMA fighter is looking to stir some interest which could lead to a potential fight.
Dillon Danis calls out KSI to fight a “real fighter”
Danis has not fought in a long time and a money fight against someone as popular as JJ is surely something that the Bellator fighter would eye currently. “You called me out, but then you backed out. You had a chance to fight me but then you went for the easier route, the walking toothpick. So if you decide to be man and fight a real fighter, let me know,” said Dillon in his response video.
Dillon became famous owing to his association with Conor McGregor. The Bellator MMA fighter has been seen many times with the Irish superstar, helping him with his wrestling. Dillon was initially scheduled to fight Jake Paul in a boxing match but the fight did not come through. However, the beef between Dillon and Jake surely did help him gain a lot of attention and fame on social media.
Dillon has also his share of beef with UFC stars. Dillon was part of one of the biggest brawls in UFC history involving Khabib Nurmagomedov. Danis was also recently in the headlines after getting arrested for a brawl in a bar. Do you want to see Danis return to fighting?
