“It’s pathetic”- Dillon Danis humbles Jake Paul, recalls claims of the YouTuber ducking a fight

Jake Paul and Dillon Danis

One of the most infamous athletes in the sport is Dillon Danis. He is more well-known for his outside-the-cage strategies than necessarily for his fighting skills. His beef with Jake Paul is the most infamous one. He is most known for being Conor Mcregor’s friend and training partner. He made inflammatory tweets that would enrage fans and elicit the kind of response he seeks, capitalising on the influence that comes with being linked with Conor. Only two professional MMA matches, both in the UFC’s Bellator division, can be found under Dillon’s belt. However, Dillon Danis is widely known in the MMA scene.

He has linked himself to all of the main MMA trends, which is what gave him the current level of notoriety. Whether you like him or not, it is rather incredible how, despite having such little success in sports, he has managed to make the entire community aware of who he is.

In a dispute at a New York nightclub, Logan Paul alleges that a friend of Dillon Danis pulled a gun on his podcast co-host. During an episode on Flagrant 2 Logan Paul stated, “Here in New York one time, because you know Dillon, me and Jake and all have been beefing for some time… We were at a party, this was when Dillon was on crutches, one of his boys pulled a gun on Mike.”

The brothers Jake and Logan Paul and Danis, a close friend and Conor McGregor’s training partner, have a protracted and bitter dispute. On the premiere of Triller Fight Club, it briefly appeared as though the jiu-jitsu expert was going to take on Jake, the younger sibling, but Jake eventually withdrew due to an injury, and Ben Askren was selected in his place.

Recently Dillon took to Twitter to state the following, “Jake Paul has declined to fight me after Tommy Fury pulled out of the fight, citing that my style is too unorthodox to train for on short notice. it’s pathetic that he called me out in 2018 but never planned on backing it up. Here is the said Tweet :-

Paul has formally announced that this will be his first-ever fight versus a professional boxer. Paul will fight Hasim Rahman Jr., the son of boxer Hasim Rahman, in Fury’s place on August 6 at Madison Square Garden. Rahman Jr. presents Paul with a formidable task as he enters the bout with a 12-1 record. If Paul wins this bout, he thinks that people will start to take him seriously as a professional boxer.
