Former heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua will take on former UFC heavyweight champion, Francis Ngannou. The fight is expected to be an intense affair and aptly is called ‘Knockout Chaos‘. The fight will be Ngannou’s second professional boxing fight. He made his professional debut against Tyson Fury. In that fight, Ngannou displayed his grit and determination. However, he lost via split decision. This time, the famous rapper, Drake believes Ngannou will get one over Joshua.
In 2023, Joshua won three bouts in a row as he sought a return to the top of the heavyweight division. Similarly, Francis Ngannou was a champion in the UFC and put on quite a performance against Fury. Hence, both fighters are formidable in their own right. As such, the winner can challenge the winner of the Oleksandr Usyk vs. Tyson Fury bout. Several people believe that Joshua will emerge victorious because of his experience. However, Drake does not, and he revealed on his Instagram story that he placed a $615k bet on Ngannou.
Furthermore, Drake’s story showed that if Ngannou wins the bout, he will receive $1.9 million from his bet. This has caused quite a stir in the combat sports world because of the infamous Drake curse. As such, it is believed that whenever Drake places a bet, it will lead to a loss, which means Ngannou will lose.
Hence, it will be interesting to witness if Ngannou can break the Drake cruse and bag a win. In addition, this fight has a lot on stake for both heavyweights since it will lead to an undisputed heavyweight title fight.

2024 continues to provide huge fights, some of which were not expected at all. As such, the combat sports world was shocked after the announcement of Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson. Furthermore, the fight will be a non-PPV event and will be streamed on Netflix.
However, the fight has received a lot of criticism since Paul is 27 years old and Tyson is 57 years old. In addition, while Ngannou preached for his fight, he was caught off guard by the news. Subsequently, in an interview with MMA Junkie, Ngannou stated that he did not know if the news was real.
Initially, Ngannou thought the fight was a movie since it would be on Netflix and revealed not knowing about it. Furthermore, Ngannou stated that we should not make speculations about the fight and stated that if it’s a real fight, it will be good.
