KSI and Jake Paul share a rivalry that goes back a couple of years when the whole YouTube boxing thing got mainstream. KSI fought Jake’s older brother, Logan twice and beat him once. The event was huge and it gained the attention of millions given the huge popularity of these youtubers. This started to give confidence to other youtubers as well as promoters to make fights featuring popular internet celebrities.

Jake Paul took this opportunity and utilised it to the maximum. The 26 year old marketed himself well and managed to produce a lot of hype for himself. Paul made headlines after fighting retired basketball and MMA players and has now established himself as a giant in the boxing industry. He is currently scheduled to fight Hasim Rahman Jr who will be the first professional boxer Paul will ever face since he started his fighting career. On the other hand, KSI is also coming back after a two year hiatus from boxing. He will take on fellow youtuber turned boxer Alex Wassabi on August 27.

Hearn recently did an interview with DAZN Boxing where he revealed how he sees Jake Paul as a fighter. He also gave his thoughts on the potential KSI vs Jake Paul fight and how it might turn out.

Hearn explained that his opinions on Paul have changed from a youtuber turned boxer to a true professional boxer. According to Hearn, KSI took a gap for some time and that will impact his performance as the fight would be very hard for him.

“Jake is in a different category now, I don’t even class Jake as YouTube boxer anymore, I class him as a real boxer. KSI’s taken a couple of years out, he’s come back. That would be a very dangerous fight for KSI.” Said Hearn.

It’s true that KSI is behind Paul on the basis of experience and nerves to be a part of such a fight. However, the Brit has the size and power. Nevertheless, It will be an interesting fight and millions of fans will tune in to watch this fight .
