Danis is a friend, coach, and training partner of Conor McGregor. Khabib Nurmagomedov jumped off the octagon at UFC 229 to confront Danis. Danis is an accomplished jiu-jitsu grappler. He competed in MMA under Bellator MMA, winning both his fights via submission.
