The recent fame of influencer boxing bouts has created a large fan base. The most prominent celebrities in this venture include the Paul Brothers, KSI, and even Floyd Mayweather. Along with these names, Salt Papi has earned a good reputation as a fighter in recent bouts. He was set to face rapper Blueface. The rapper recently released a video of an assailant attacking him. He claimed the assailant stabbed him and will not fight against Papi. Many fans suspect the rapper was purposely avoiding the bout.

The video clip showed an intruder crash Blueface’s practice session. However, it does not provide any evidence of him getting stabbed. A fan wrote, “He making a extreme excuse to duck the fight.” In this fight, fans believed Papi to have the edge over Blueface. Two of his three wins resulted in opponents being knocked out flat. His only loss comes from Anthony Taylor, a light-heavyweight fighter who fought Tommy Fury.

Blueface has only fought once in his career due to several fight cancelations. He faced the TikTok star Kane Trujillo on an undercard for the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship. The rapper won the bout via unanimous decision. As of now, he has pulled out of the bout with Papi.

Salt Papi and Blueface were set to fight in October. The fight would have featured on the undercard of the DAZN Prime event. The Prime Card event would feature Logan Paul vs. Dillon Danis and KSI vs. Tommy Fury. The fight will likely not take place and Papi might need a new opponent.

The boxing bout between rapper Blueface and the YouTuber Salt Papi in an influencer match-up will no longer take place. In a recent post by Blueface, he announced that he will not be able to take part in the bout. The post showed a video of an intruder and the rapper visibly fighting. Throughout the clip, there were no signs of stabbing from anyone. Fans believed the rapper was trying to avoid Papi. Here are some of their reactions to the announcement:

Many believe that Blueface staged the video to avoid defeat. Papi has a boxing record of 3 wins and one loss. Two of his wins have come from brutal knockouts. In comparison to this, the rapper has only fought once in the boxing ring. Papi was indeed the favorite over Blueface. Fight fans will not get to see that happen.
