One of the best lighter-weight boxers in the world, Gervonta Davis, went to jail for breaking the terms of his house arrest. The court in Baltimore sentenced Davis to house arrest for the Lambo Hit and Run incident. Nevertheless, Davis left the house and got sentenced to jail for breaking the terms of his house arrest. Gervonta Davis left jail recently, and the photo has gone viral for its similarity to Denzel Washington.

The similarity with an afro-styled Denzel Washington took the internet by storm. The Hollywood legend sported an afro in two epic films. First, Spike Lee directed He Got Game which dealt with street basketball. The second time he sported an afro came in the Roman J Israel Esq. in 2017. Washington portrayed a lawyer in that film. Gervonta Davis looked eerily similar to Denzel Washington in the picture that went viral on Twitter.

Davis defeated Ryan Garcia in a high-profile boxing bout in April. The duo entered the bout with an undefeated record. However, Davis dominated Garcia on his way to getting a TKO victory in the 7th round. With the win over Garcia, Davis established himself as the face of boxing alongside Canelo Alvarez.

At the moment, Gervonta Davis has two super fights at his disposal. The first could be against 135-pound champion Devin Haney and the other against an exciting Shakur Stevenson. Haney is coming off a controversial fight against Vasiliy Lomachenko that most people thought Loma won. Boxing fans would be excited if Davis could fight either Stevenson or Haney in his next bout.
