After months of anticipation, Deontey Wilder and Andy Ruiz are finally actively talking about fighting each other. The winner of the bout might determine who would be the next mandatory challenger for Tyson Fury’s WBC heavyweight title.
Both the fighters are going back and forth against each other on social media platforms and it looks like it can develop into something. Recently, Wilder shared a clip of him mocking Ruiz and asking him to sign the contract of the fight on his social media.
During the process, Wilder brought a little nephew who roasted Ruiz for not taking the fight. Wilder’s nephew said: “Yo, Andy. If it ain’t about the money, sign the contract. What you scared about. Oh I know, it’s about Deontay right-hand fist. I wanna see Deontay knock you out.” The former heavyweight champion thought it would be funny but faced a lot of criticism as fans didn’t like Deontay involving his nephew in the whole rivalry.
