Jake is set to fight august 13th with an opponent to yet be announced
Jake Paul has faced one constant criticism in his short but flashy boxing career, that being a lack of high-caliber boxers in the list of people he beat. In fact, Jake has yet to fight a full-time boxer in his 5 fight professional career. Hence fans were excited when the former YouTuber announced that he would be returning to action this August with many more curious about the opponent than the actual outcome of the fight.
Paul couldn’t have made the biggest mistake while releasing the poster featuring Amanda Serrano for his next fight. The mistake? A lack of an opponent to face leaving only Serrano and Paul on the poster. Even the most casual combat sports fan assumes that if there are two people on a fight poster, they are probably going to be the ones fighting.
Hence fans were quick to point out this obvious goof and trolled the YouTuber relentlessly. The misstep was so massive that most fans ignored the massive deal it is for a fighter to headline Madison Square Garden and goes straight to bashing the comical poster
One fan didn’t sugar coat it and reminded Jake what will happen the moment he face a real boxer
Another even went as far as to drop his precise prediction over the outcome of the bout
One fan was simply confused by the abnormal poster and made their doubts very clear
Many just pointed out the obvious, in that Jake shouldn’t be fighting a woman
This fan kept sexism aside and was much more willing to give Jake props for the toughest step up in competition in his nascent career
