In an unexpected turn of events, legendary boxer Floyd Mayweather and rising star Ryan Garcia linked up recently. This was not the first time that they were seen together. However, this was the first time they went for a run. Hence, the unlikely duo left the boxing world in awe and sparked a frenzy of excitement among fans and fellow athletes alike.

After Garcia began having troubles with Oscar De La Hoya, he was spotted with Mayweather at an NBA game. This was after Mayweather stated that he would sign Garcia if he weren’t contractually bound to Golden Boy Promotions. However, Garcia has yet to get out of his contract even after taking the matter to a legal court. Subsequently, this hasn’t stopped Mayweather and Garcia from hanging out, and their 3 a.m. run in Las Vegas captured social media attention.

Garcia recently made a comeback after his disappointing loss against Gervonta Davis in April 2023. Garcia won the bout via an eight-round KO victory over Oscar Duarte in December 2023. Furthermore, Garcia has expressed his desire to fight Devin Haney and Rolly Romero.

In addition, Garcia is currently negotiating a fight with Devin Haney, who also wants to fight Gervonta Davis. However, unlike Davis, Haney and Garcia are moving forward with their potential megafight. The fight is even more significant, considering that Haney and Garcia have fought six times as amateur boxers.

Mayweather, a retired undefeated boxing champion, and Garcia, a young and promising talent, have formed an unexpected friendship over the past few months. Subsequently, Garcia and Mayweather were spotted together going for a run for the first time.

This isn’t the first time they have been seen together, but this time, it was for a different reason. Furthermore, they were out for a run at 3 a.m. in Las Vegas and maintained a steady speed while jogging. Despite Mayweather’s age, he appears fit and easily kept up with Garcia. Fans commended Mayweather and Garcia after seeing them run together but remarked that Garcia was not maintaining his form.
