American professional boxing promoter and former professional boxer Floyd Mayweather has always been an outspoken person. As such, once, in an interview, the boxer stated that young people should have an understanding that the first Jews (Hebrew Israelites) were of black origin.

The boxer talked with the multi-genre hip hop-based music brand Revolt. Mayweather took part in the show The Drink Champs, deliberating on his career and peer relations. In the interview, he said:

If you don't got the same kind of account, if your accounts don't look like my accounts, then guess what - our dressing game ain't gonna be the same. Right now, it's easy for me to get on to your level. But the thing is I a trying to teach these youngsters how to evolve, and go to a different level….A lot of times what these youngsters don't know. When they talk about Jews, you gotta realize the first Jews were black…And it's so crazy right now. I'll be thinking about this all the time. I mean, even in the U.S right now, the Jews got all the jewels...

Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather was one of the very first high-profile athletes to come out in support of Israel overtly. He wrote a post showing his unequivocal support, while his peers cautiously chose their words and stance. Very recently, his private plane touched down at Ben Gurion Airport with military equipment that he had purchased for IDF soldiers.

The donations were delivered by his pilots, including a stable of retired US Army and US Air Force veterans.

Mayweather’s private plane, Air Mayweather, recently landed in Israel. It was the same day that the boxing champion participated in a march to the Museum of Tolerance in Los Angeles in a gesture of solidarity with Israel. His team, on the other hand, completed an operation that had begun to mobilize at the beginning of October. Alongside, the boxer had taken to his Instagram account to show his support for Israel.

The boxing legend said he got the inspiration to join a wide range of NBA players, religious leaders, and politicians in the march in support of Israel. He is now retired as a pro-boxer and indulges in such philanthropy. Mayweather’s last match was a TKO win over Conor McGregor in their highly anticipated boxing bout. It took place Aug. 26, 2017, at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The boxer retired in 2017.
