Francis Ngannou and Tyson Fury will be fighting each other at the crossover boxing main event in Saudi Arabia. The highly anticipated 10-round crossover boxing match will be conducted in the capital city of Riyadh on October 28. Furthermore, this will be Ngannou’s professional boxing debut after the former UFC heavyweight champion signed with the PFL.

Subsequently, Ngannou has acquired the services of the legendary former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson for this fight. Recently, in a podcast, Ngannou and Mike Tyson had some lighthearted conversations with the hosts during his hectic training. During the podcast, Ngannou said, “If u have a friend like Mike Tyson and think I’m just gonna go out there and find trouble and count on him. I’m Mike Tyson I’m not your friend anymore.”

Hence, Ngannou stated that if a friend picks a fight and gets into trouble for no reason, then he would not associate himself with that individual. Even if Ngannou was Mike Tyson himself, he would still follow this rule. Ngannou stated that just because he can fight does not mean he would support a friend who looks for trouble.

In addition, Ngannou stated that in such a situation, he would rather pretend not to know the individual than fight. However, ‘The Predator’ revealed that he would support his friend if they got into trouble instead of looking for it. Hence, Ngannou would fight for his friend if they did not start the trouble themselves.

Mike Tyson predicts Tyson Fury vs. Francis Ngannou

Fury’s WBC belt will not be at stake for this bout since Ngannou is not a top boxing contender. However, Fury’s reputation is at stake because it will discredit his champion status if he loses the match against Ngannou.

Furthermore, Fury and Oleksandr Usyk have finally signed a contract to fight in a heavyweight unification bout. Hence, if Fury loses to Ngannou, his fight with Usyk will be postponed even further. People are also expecting Ngannou to shock the world by defeating Fury in his own sport. Mike Tyson is also very confident that Ngannou has a chance at winning and only needs to land a few blows.

However, most fans and experts are betting on Fury to secure victory because of his vast boxing experience and IQ. In addition, Fury has remained undefeated across his 33 fights and has one draw in his professional boxing record.
