The former UFC heavyweight champion, Francis Ngannou’s rise to fame in the sport of boxing didn’t take long. The Cameroonian MMA fighter went head-to-head against the undefeated WBC heavyweight, Tyson Fury in his first-ever boxing fight. Many people anticipated that the fight would be a mismatch in terms of skill, but Ngannou proved this notion wrong. As such, Ngannou knocked Fury down to the canvas and controversially lost the fight via split decision.

However, the loss did not faze Ngannou, since he still has a long way to go in his boxing career. Ngannou is now set to fight Anthony Joshua on March 8, and the winner will be able to challenge the next undisputed heavyweight champion. In addition, Ngannou interviewed with DAZN ahead of the fight, where he announced his top 3 dream opponents.

Three names that I had in mind. Tyson Fury, Antony Joshua, Deontay Wilder. I still have those three names. This won’t end until I fight Wilder and Tyson Fury rematch.
