Francis Ngannou and Tyson Fury have been talking about having a boxing match for years and now the official dates are out for the fight. The pair is going to exchange punches in Saudi Arabia this October. Fury being the undefeated boxing champion is certainly the favorite to come out as the winner.
However, in a recent interview with TMZ, the former UFC heavyweight champion warns Tyson Fury to take the fighter seriously or else he could regret the outcome for years. He said: “He has said a lot of things. He better just get ready for Oct. 28 because if he’s not taking this seriously, I think he might get surprised and get some regret for his life. I’m coming for all. This is my moment, this is my life, and this is what I’ve been waiting for.”
“The boxing dream I’ve been having since I was a kid, even a long time before I discovered MMA, this is it: fighting the boxing champion, the belt might not be on the line, but he is the reigning champion, and this is the dream. So I’m coming for everything,” added Francis. Ngannou stressed the fact that he’s been waiting for this boxing opportunity for ages and is going to put everything into the fight.

Francis Ngannou claims that Tyson Fury vs him inside the MMA cage would be ‘suicidal’ for the boxing heavyweight champion
Fury has said in the past that he would like to transition to MMA in the future in order to fight tough opponents. In an interview with The MMA Hour, Francis Ngannou was asked about the rematch inside the cage against Fury to which Francis Ngannou gave a pretty strong opinion.
He said: “I don’t think Tyson would do that, that would be suicidal. He also confirmed that the rematch would have to wait until after his return to MMA under the PFL banner.”
Ngannou also talked about the criticism he’s been getting ahead of his boxing match against Fury. “In this case I would not say these are haters, they are right. They have the guy on one side who is top of the sport and on the other side they have a guy who they have never seen in a boxing match, so there is a question.”
A month ago Fury also got into a online scuffle with Joe Rogan and Jon Jones and claimed that he would beat Jones inside the cage but later confirmed that he’s a boxer and only fights inside the ring.
