Francis Ngannou is set to fight the former two-time heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua in March. The former UFC heavyweight champion gave the undefeated WBC champion Tyson Fury a tough fight. An integral aspect of Ngannou’s performance was the guidance of Dewey Cooper and Mike Tyson.
Cooper was Ngannou’s main trainer and coach for his physical and striking training ahead of his fight. Similarly, Cooper will actively participate in Ngannou’s preparations ahead of his highly anticipated fight against Joshua. However, many people have wondered if Mike Tyson will participate in Ngannou’s training this time, as he did before the Fury fight. Furthermore, in an interview with talkSPORT, Cooper shed light on this and stated:
I love Mike; we go back way before any of this Francis Ngannou-UFC stuff was happening anyway. So, I hope he will come through like he did last time and keep implementing his mentality and technique. I’m sure he will, but either way, Ngannou is going to be prepared and ready to go against Anthony Joshua.Dewey Cooper via talkSPORT

Cooper spoke about Tyson’s involvement in Ngannou training before fighting Fury. In addition, he mentioned that Tyson helped Ngannou with not just physical training but also mental preparation. In addition, Cooper spoke about how Tyson motivated Ngannou and how much Ngannou adored him.
Furthermore, Cooper stated that Tyson would be there for Ngannou in whatever way Ngannou needed. Cooper believed Tyson would also contribute to Ngannou’s preparations before his fight with Joshua.
Dewey Cooper’s prediction for Francis Ngannou vs. Anthony Joshua
Before Ngannou’s debut, everyone had preassumed that Fury would easily defeat him. However, Ngannou shocked the boxing world, and many people even argue that he was robbed of his victory. Furthermore, Cooper was one of the few people who believed in Ngannou, and he still remained confident in ‘The Predator’ ahead of the Joshua fight.

At the recent press conference, Joshua and Ngannou finally came face-to-face ahead of their fight. In addition, during the press conference, Dooper spoke about Ngannou and stated that the Fury fight was no surprise for them. Similarly, Cooper boldly said they expect Ngannou to deliver a stellar performance again.
Furthermore, Cooper stated that he expected fire but claimed that the flaming fists of Ngannou would finish Joshua. The Predator is also quite confident in himself ahead of the fight and wanted to see if Joshua had a chin or not to take his punches.
