Former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou fought Tyson Fury in Saudi Arabia. Many thought Fury had the upper hand in the bout due to his accumulated experience. Ngannou was the clear underdog, but he performed well enough to shock the world. Despite losing the bout, Ngannou remains happy about his performance.

Before the showdown, the French-Cameroonian fighter received a festive and traditional send-off. A video coverage by Ariel Helwani of The MMA Hour showed the celebration unfolding. In the video, friends and peers of Ngannou celebrated and sang along moments before the bout. This did play an impact on Ngannou as he performed much better than most people thought he would.

Fury and Ngannou clashed in a unique 10-round boxing bout featuring the lineal boxing heavyweight champion against the lineal MMA heavyweight champion. Ngannou dropped Fury in the third round with a counter left hook. With improvements, Ngannou could potentially challenge for the title one day.

Throughout the match, Tyson Fury could not get his offense going. Ngannou did much better, considering it was his first professional bout. The Cameroonian fighter will return to MMA in 2024 while simultaneously pursuing a boxing match here and there

Tyson Fury stepped into the ring for the first time in 2023 by facing Francis Ngannou in Saudi Arabia. The pre-fight entrances were bustling with the arrivals of several celebrities. One of them was Vince McMahon. The former WWE chairman is an executive member of the newly formed TKO Group Holdings.

McMahon, the renowned WWE Executive Chairman, has been a media proprietor and sports executive/promoter for decades. But recent times saw his exit from the wrestling promotion. In one of his few secluded appearances, he was seen at the current boxing event, sporting a cane. The appearance of McMahon surprised some fans.

The Undertaker, another legend of the wrestling world, accompanied McMahon. Both are close acquaintances and have been so for a long time. At the commentary on smooth-sailing with White and UFC-WWE relations, the Undertaker gave out a little scoff. McMahon have a good relationship with Saudi Arabia and the officials invited him to attend the bout along with other celebrities and fighters.
