Oleksandr Usyk came back into action after serving his country in crisis. The Ukrainian fought Anthony Joshua inside King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah. Even though the fight was close, Usyk performed better and won the fight via split decision. Soon after, Usyk didn’t waste any time and called out Tyson Fury for a fight.

“I’m sure that Tyson Fury is not retired yet,” Usyk said in the ring during the post-fight interview .”I’m sure, I’m convinced he wants to fight me. I want to fight him and if I’m not fighting Tyson Fury, I’m not fighting at all.”

Fury, who is currently enjoying his retirement from professional boxing, was hyped by the fight and after the call-out took the Twitter to shared a response video. In the clip, Fury mocked the performance of both Usyk and AJ and mentioned that he is ready to get back inside the ring against Usyk. He said :

“It was one of the worst heavyweight title fights l have ever seen. It was bull s. I would annihilate both of them on the same night. F** sh* , Get your f** chequebook out because the Gypsy King is here to stay forever.”

Fury’s promoter Frank Warren recently did an interview with iFL TV where he discussed the updates regarding the much-anticipated fight. According to Warren, the fight has been fixed as both the teams were ready. Warren explained that matchmaking wasn’t much of an issue. However, the date and venue are yet to be decided along with the fighters purse. He said:

“The fight is made, both parties want it. So there’s no big problem in getting this fight made, it’s about where it takes place and how we satisfy the boxers’ financial demands.”
