Kamaru Usman has been eyeing a fight against Canelo Alvarez for a long time, he ran through everyone in the UFC’s welterweight division, and now he’s just taking on rematches to keep the engine running. Canelo is hailed as the best boxer of our era, and he’s been knocking out his competitors left and right as well.

A possible match between these two is much anticipated by the fans, and even though Canelo is not afraid of Usman, he’s not so keen on fighting him.

Usman’s manager Ali Abdelaziz recently called him out for avoiding this fight. He took to Twitter to write, “@Canelo is an absolute chicken, he is fighting guys with 5000 followers on Instagram, these guys will never do nothing for his legacy. Now I understand why he doesn’t wanna lose to someone like @USMAN84kg this is chicken style, no risk – no reward.”

Canelo was intrigued by this, and he replied with a sarcastic comment, he wrote, “Who the fuck is this?”

Ali is known for promoting fights for his clients, but Usman had to intervene when things got a little heated between these two, he replied to Canelo’s comment, and wrote, “Let’s just all relax… before somebody gets hurt.”

Canelo again fired back, and wrote, “I agree cuz it will not be me.”

Usman then asked Canelo to settle things once in for all, he wrote, “In the cage or the ring I’m willing find out in both… Are you?”

Canelo then slammed Usman for trying to get a fight against him just for money, he said, “You calling me out right ? You want the pay day right ? So you know where, but sit down it’s not your turn yet I have a legacy to make.”

Usman ended the conversation with this, “Enough said… you don’t want that smoke in a real fight. I hear you! Good luck champ”
