The online drama between Gervonta Davis and boxing promoter Eddie Hearn continues. In the latest developments, Gervonta Davis has revealed screenshots of his Instagram chats with the British promotor.
It all started after Gervonta Davis misinterpreted some of Eddie’s comments on the DAZN boxing show. Eddie said on the show, “The dangerous thing about Gervonta Davis is he’s not a deep thinker, not articulate. I don’t mean that in a disrespectful way. He’s a bad motherf***er. Like Mike Tyson. That makes him dangerous because he’s fearless, you can’t get into his head.”
In response to these comments, Gervonta Davis made a Twitter post which he later deleted to take a shot at Eddie. Eddie wrote, “Not a deep thinker and not articulate made me “not” sign that bullshit ass offer he sent.” He was indeed referring to the offer made by Eddie to fight Ryan Garcia. Now Gervonta Davis has shared some screenshots from his Instagram chats to show that they have probably buried the hatchet.
The British promoter was indeed complimenting the American boxer. Eddie believes it is difficult to get into the head of fighters like Gervonta Davis and compares him to the likes of Mike Tyson.

In the post, Eddie Hearn is standing beside a young Gervonta Davis. According to the post, the pic was taken 6 years back. Some fight fans speculate Eddie Hearn made the post to hint at some future plans with Gervonta while others believe he made it to show he is on good terms with Gervonta.
Gervonta Davis was coming off his victory over Hector Garcia and managed to keep his undefeated streak intact. The boxer is now unbeaten in 28 matches winning 26 of them via knockout. His next fight would be against another undefeated prospect Ryan Garcia coming in April. He might be riding smoothly through his professional life but his personal life has hit some bumps recently. He was arrested for domestic violence one week prior to the fight and had to pay a fine of $1000 to get bail.
