Hasim Rahman Jr gets brutally mocked by fans for suggesting MMA is inferior to Boxing

Rahman Jr came under fire for calling boxing the superior sport
Hasim Rahman Jr inserted himself into the ever raging debate over what is the better combat sport, boxing or MMA and realised it the hard way that his sport may not hold the same prestige among fans as it once did.
Rahaman Jr was best known as the son of Former Heavyweight Champion, Hasim Rahman Sr and being a scheduled opponent for Jake Paul before the fight was cancelled a week before it was supposed to take place at the MSG. Since then Rahman has been campaigning for a fight and has received it in the form of Vitor Belfort making his second boxing appearance after an earlier KO over the legendary Evander Holyfield, last year in an exhibition boxing bout.
The argument that Boxing is bigger than MMA is a tough one to calculate or back up as a fact. It is true that the UFC can consistently pull great revenues even with a lack of household names however the same cannot be said of other promotions. Boxing on the other hand outdoes MMA on a night any big name like Fury or Alvarez might be involved but other than that the cluttered divisions may leave none interested in the sport.
