Oleksandr Usyk and Anthony Joshua’s clash in the desert delivered on all expectations and then some. The duo went the 12 round distance in what was a significantly more competitive bout than their last encounter. AJ showed improvement in his over all boxing ability but failed to aim for the kill and was ultimately unsuccessful in outboxing Usyk.
The Ukrainian fighter had just been released from the frontlines of the ongoing invasion in his country and has undoubtedly given his countrymen much-needed hope in such dark times. Fans were both happy for Usyk while being worried about Joshua’s future prospects.
