Influencer boxing has found a surge in popularity after the likes of Jake Paul, Logan Paul, KSI, and many more. Jake Paul earned himself a name after he went 8 rounds against the credited Tommy Fury. Now, he entered the ring against another attributed boxer Andre August. This fight was scheduled for 8 rounds in Orlando, Florida. However, Jake Paul just needed 2 minutes and 32 seconds of it to finish the fight.

Jake Paul was light on his feet from the start. His jabs were landing and when he found an opening, he went hard. In the third minute of the fight, Paul touched Andre August with a jab and landed a right uppercut flush on his chin. This put the professional boxer out cold on the canvas. ‘The Problem Child’ waved goodbye to August as he sent him off to the shadow realm.

Andre August tried to recover from it during the referee’s count, but he didn’t manage to do so. Hence, Jake Paul was announced as the winner. Earlier, Paul predicted a KO in the first round and was confident. But many wrote him out and marked him as cocky. But he proved that he was an improved boxer and made his actions speak louder than his words.

Andre August entered the ring with a record of 10-1-1 which included five knockouts. Notably, he was also on a five-fight win streak. Jake Paul vs. Andre August was one of the highly anticipated bouts in influencer boxing. It went down recently at the Caribe Royale Resort in Orlando, Florida. Paul entered this fight after his dominant win over former UFC fighter Nate Diaz. Although it was a dominant victory, many criticized him for not finishing the fight. However, he answered those critics through his fight with August.

Paul became the victor by producing a knockout in the first round. He knocked out August with a clean uppercut at the 2-minute 32-second mark. Soon, Paul took his showmanship skills out of his pocket and waved goodbye to August lying on the canvas.
