Ryan Garcia‘s erratic behavior has been causing a lot of worry among boxing fans and experts. Furthermore, Garcia is set to face undefeated WBC super-lightweight Devin Haney on April 20. As such, across the promotion of the fight, Garcia has behaved quite differently, which has caused people to worry.
Initially, people noticed that his voice and way of speaking were different, as Haney accused him of cocaine use. After this, Garcia appeared at the first pre-fight press conference drunk, according to Haney. Subsequently, Garcia was interviewed on Twitter, where he kept laughing and confessed that he was high.
As such, during their second pre-fight press conference, Haney directly attacked Garcia and questioned his drug use. Garcia responded by stating that he does not use cocaine but partakes in drinking alcohol and smoking weed. Hence, this may explain his recent antics and erratic behavior, but things have reached another level recently.
Ryan Garcia’s disturbing social media posts about his death
Garcia’s drug use and lack of training ahead of the highly anticipated fight have been causing fans to worry. However, now fans are worried for Garcia’s well-being after his recent posts on social media. Furthermore, a disturbing video was uploaded to his Instagram story, feed, and X account. The video had a caption that stated that Garcia had been murdered and suggested that his phone had been taken. The post on X stated that they slit Garcia’s throat, threw him inside a basket, and stated that nobody would find him.
Subsequently, the same video was uploaded on Instagram, but the graphic details about Garcia’s death were not mentioned. The captions are different on Instagram and X because Instagram has stricter guidelines, which would have led the post to be taken down. While the captions on both social media platforms vary, the caption inside the video is the same.
Subsequently, the social media posts mention ‘Satan’ and ‘666’, which suggests that the alleged assailants are from a satanic group.
Dillon Danis and Ryan Garcia’s wife comment on Ryan Garcia
The video has caused a stir in the boxing world, and his opponent, Haney, dismissed it and asked people not to fall for his trolling. However, Garcia’s ex-wife, Andrea Celina, whom he recently divorced, expressed concern for Garcia on her social media. Furthermore, Celina revealed that she is in contact with him and that Garcia may appear to be fine, but he isn’t. In addition, she urged people to pray for Garcia because everyone close to him is currently worried.
Simultaneously, Dillon Danis also commented on this and stated that mental health is very important. As such, Danis stated that if Garcia is struggling with his mental health, he needs to receive support during this period. Danis even offered to help Garcia in whatever manner he could and assured him that he would be there for him as he got better. Hence, while Garcia may be unharmed, he is dealing with some things that are causing his erratic behavior on social media.
