Israel Adesanya went to Saudi Arabia to witness the spectacle of the ‘Day of Reckoning’ boxing event. Anthony Joshua headlined the event against Otto Wallin while featuring boxing stars Deontay Wilder and Dmitry Bivol in two separate bouts. As such, Adesanya enjoyed the fight ringside and had a great time at the event. Now, he shared his experience and opinion on the fight card in his new YouTube video.

In his YouTube channel, Israel Adesanya spoke about the ‘Day of Reckoning’ event in detail. As such, he stated this was the most stacked boxing card ever. There was no doubt as it had Anthony Joshua earning a spectacular knockout, Deontay Wilder losing in an upset win to Joseph Parker, and Dmitry Bivol putting on a clinic. As such, he mentioned all the fights were exciting and weren’t even a bit boring. Here is what he said:

First of all, the most stacked boxing card in history. Maybe back in the day, they just used to stack them, I don't know if they used to stack them this much. But, all the fights were exciting and competitive. There was no boring fights at all. Crazy crazy night of fights man and it was exciting. This is good for boxing.

Israel Adesanya further detailed the fights that took place at the event. He congratulated Anthony Joshua and the main card winners while also giving credit to boxers like Deontay Wilder and Junior Fa, who lost their bouts. Adesanya also met fellow UFC star Conor McGregor at the event and enjoyed conversing with him.

Israel Adesanya lost his previous fight and middleweight title to Sean Strickland at UFC 293. Afterward, he announced a long break from competing and went afar MMA. As such, he coyed by announcing his return time to be 2027. However, recently, he hinted at a faster turnaround.

Since UFC star Israel Adesanya was present at the event, he enjoyed the showdown and appreciated Joshua’s win. Now, he opined about the fight on his YouTube channel.

Israel Adesanya had nothing but praise for Anthony Joshua. In the recent video posted on the ‘Freestylebender’ YouTube channel, Adesanya looked back on Joshua vs. Wallin. He acknowledged Wallin as the European champion and the skillset he brought to the ring. However, Joshua won, and Adesanya appreciated his composure and focus. Further, he was impressed by the power Joshua possessed. Here is what he said:

The champion (Otto Wallin), I think European champion, champ for a reason. He showed his skillset, he was dangerous but not for long. AJ (Anthony Joshua) was composed, calculated, focused, sharp. When he threw power, you were just like 'oooo'... Then, he cracked him with his left hook and then it was kidda downhill from there.

Israel Adesanya announced taking a break from fighting after his devastating loss to Sean Strickland in UFC 293. However, recently, he seemed to change his mind and hinted at a quicker comeback than had been announced. As such, rumors spread he would fight Khamzat Chimaev at UFC 300. However, there was no official news from the UFC. But, the MMA world is eager for Adesanya’s return.
