“Do not f***ng sleep on Silva”- Israel Adesanya WARNS Jake Paul to not treat Anderson Silva like a ‘regular 42-year-old

Israel Adesanya and Jake Paul
YouTuber turned boxer Jake Paul is going to test his will against the all-time great Anderson Silva inside a boxing ring on 30th October. After knocking out former MMA champions like Tyron Woodley and Ben Askren, Paul is looking to cement himself as a legitimate boxer by taking on Silva.
Silva is widely considered the best striker to ever step inside the octagon, and many expect him to put an end to Paul’s win streak. Paul, on the other hand, is young and full of confidence, and he promised to knock Silva out, but UFC middleweight champion, and Silva’s former opponent, Israel Adesanya sent out an interesting piece of advice for him.
While talking to Paul on BS w/ Jake Paul, Adesanya said, “Don’t f***ng believe the hype just cause he’s 42 or whatever. He’s a different kind of 42-year-old. I think you can get it done, but do not f***ng sleep on Silva, it’s gonna be a bad night. I wanna see you shake up the world, it’s fun to see you just throw your s**t everywhere.”
Anderson Silva talks about fighting Georges St-Pierre inside a boxing ring

Silva’s retirement from the UFC opened up a whole new world of opportunities for him. A legend like Silva definitely deserves to take on such iconic fights, and one such fight that never happened was against Georges St-Pierre. Both of them competed around the same time, but never got a chance to face each other.

While talking to the reporters before his boxing match against Paul, Silva was asked to comment on the prospect of a potential clash against GSP. While Silva was mermerised by the idea, he left a sarcastic remark on GSP’s contract obligation with the UFC. Silva said, “Wow, I think that’s good… first of all you need to check out if GSP is out of contract with the UFC, and because, I think GSP can come and do something special, the same (as) us.”
Everybody is excited to see Silva back in action, and if he can actually work out a deal to bring GSP back then it would easily become the biggest fighting event of the century.
