“It is very possible now” – Jake Paul asked to consider transitioning after USA Boxing’s controversial transgender rule
KSI’s manager, Mams Taylor, threw shade at Jake Paul and his aspirations to become a world champion. The latest attack on Paul came due to Paul's association with USA Boxing who recently allowed the inclusion of transgender boxers.

YouTuber turned professional boxer Jake Paul has made steady progress in the sport of boxing. Paul has set his sights on achieving more than just commercial success. He aims to achieve his dream of becoming a world-champion boxer. In addition, Paul and British influencer KSI have beefed for some time now. Similarly, KSI’s manager, Mams Taylor, has often hit out at the younger Paul sibling.
Under USA Boxing’s new rules for 2024, biologically male boxers who transition to females are allowed to compete in the women’s divisions under certain circumstances. In light of USA Boxing’s new policy, Jake Paul was the subject of a joke by Taylor. Taylor struck Paul when he responded to Michael Benson‘s X post on USA Boxing’s transgender policy. This is what Taylor wrote:
I want to apologize and retract my doubt in Jake Paul’s dreams to become world champion. It’s very possible now, You got this Joselyn Paul!!!Mams Taylor via X
Hence, KSI’s manager cleverly used USA Boxing’s trans-inclusion policy to question Paul’s chances of becoming a champion. Since 2018–2019, Paul and KSI have been linked to a potential mega-fight, but nothing has happened yet.
Furthermore, KSI proposed a mega-fight in August 2022 at Wembley Stadium, which would be a winner-take-all format. However, KSI and Paul continued to fight against big-name opposition, such as Tommy Fury and Nate Diaz.
Fans react to KSI’s manager joke about Jake Paul
USA Boxing, the national governing body for Olympic-style boxing in the United States, made headlines when it adopted a trans-inclusion policy. The policy allows transgender athletes to compete in the gender category that aligns with their gender identity as long as they meet certain hormone-related criteria.
While this policy has been hailed as a significant step towards inclusivity in sports, it has also sparked debates and controversies. Recently, KSI’s manager took a creative approach to taunting Paul’s championship ambitions. He used USA Boxing’s trans-inclusion policy to throw shade at Paul, implying that his chances of becoming a true champion were dubious at best. Furthermore, fans reacted by stating, “He’s right.” Check out some of the fan reactions:
Several fans found Taylor’s joke hilarious and continued to troll Paul and his aspirations to be a world champion. However, many fans fired back at Taylor for making lame jokes at his age, using eyeliner, and looking zesty. Furthermore, some fans found the joke problematic because of the controversial and sensitive subject.
In case you missed it!
