Jake Paul boldly offers ‘scared little boy’ Tommy Fury $500K to fight in the UK

Jake Paul has made a new offer to fight Tommy Fury in the United Kingdom, but only for a quarter of his decided pay. Fury was going to make $2 million to meet Paul on August 6 at Madison Square Garden in New York but had to cancel with him owing to travel restrictions.

Fury is currently barred from entering the United States owing to a visa issue. Fury’s ESTA, which is required for entry into the US, was denied when he attempted to board an aircraft to New York for last Wednesday’s press conference.

Tommy Fury was scheduled to meet Jake at Madison Square Garden in New York on August 6, but he had to cancel a second battle with the YouTuber owing to travel concerns. He even expressed his disappointment in a statement yesterday, after alerting supporters through video message of his inability to attend last week’s press conference.

Jake has thrown Fury one more chance, saying he will fly to the UK and fight him provided Fury accepts a $500,000 purse. This would be their third effort at making the fight, and it would be done quickly after the bout between Paul and Hasim Rahman Jr. is scheduled to be confirmed.

Paul tweets, “I’m confident you are a scared little boy who doesn’t want to fight or understand business. I will pay you $500K to fight me in the UK. I will do it shortly after August 6. You accept?”


Jake shares a post of Tommy, where he says, “I am confident this fight will happen when this issues gets resolved and we come to a solution. I want to clarify that I will fight in a neutral country that both parties can enter, This can be any time, any place, anywhere.”

So it appears that Tommy v. Jake will still go a place, but only if Tommy accepts his revised purse, which is a quarter of what was originally agreed upon. Stay tuned to find out.
