It’s been about three years since Jake Paul started his journey to make it big in the ring and celebrity boxing. However, it has been a difficult time for him, and he’s faced much criticism from the sports fans. Subsequently, Paul never let that stop him from pushing forward, even though he is underestimated as a celebrity boxer. Furthermore, his loss to Tommy Fury only made him even more determined to make it to the top.
Surprisingly, Paul even challenged Canelo Alvarez to a fight, but the Mexican did not think much of it. As Paul gears up for another boxing show in March, he recently revealed his ‘Sacred Duty’ that he must fulfill. As such, Paul stated:
Every individual on this planet has a sacred responsibility, and uncovering what that is for yourself is a big part of one’s journey. Earlier this year, in a spiritual ceremony, I saw clearer than ever what my sacred responsibility was - to become world champion.Jake Paul via Michael Benson

Although Paul has been in the sport for quite some time now, it doesn’t seem like he has always been focused on becoming a champion. The fans used to criticize him for fighting for money, but his recent fight wasn’t even a PPV event.
Hence, the spiritual ceremony Paul attended seems to have changed his mind and made him more determined about the sport. Furthermore, the spiritual ceremony Paul is referring to could be his experience taking Ayahuasca with Aaron Rodgers in Peru’s jungles.
Fans react to Jake Paul’s bold declaration
Paul began his journey in celebrity boxing after his brother Logan Paul and KSI initiated the trend. Subsequently, Jake seems to have made a name for himself in the sport compared to his brother. In addition, Paul is not just satisfied with being a celebrity boxer; he wants to build a legacy for himself.
Furthermore, “The Problem Child” has determined that his legacy can be fulfilled by being a world champion. Recently, Paul stated that he believes this is his destiny after attending a spiritual ceremony, which gave him clarity. Fans reacted to this by stating, “Put shrooms down, lad.”

Fans trolled Paul for having bizarre and non-realistic aspirations after having a psychedelic experience. Furthermore, fans brought up how Paul had not reached the level of world champion boxers and couldn’t even defeat Fury. Subsequently, some fans mentioned how crazy it would be if Paul achieved it.
