“Already Training” Jake Paul eager to run back Taylor-Serrano in Ireland
Jake Paul calls for an immediate rematch following historic 10-Round Taylor -Serrano unification bout
After a historic 10-round showcase for the undisputed women’s lightweight championship between Amanda Serrano and Katie Taylor, promoter Jake Paul didn’t waste any time laying the foundations for a rematch. Paul’s client, Amanda Serrano Came up short against still undefeated Katie Taylor in a razor-thin split decision victory for the Irish star.
Both Taylor and Serrano agreed that it was a close fight that warrants a rematch. In the post-fight interview, Amanda said she felt like “a true warrior” for moving up two divisions to fight for the undisputed belt. Taylor was thankful for the opportunity and thanked the Irish Fans for supporting her all the way through
Eddie Hearn, CEO of Matchroom Boxing and Taylor’s key promoter expressed his interest in bringing back Taylor to her home country in Ireland before she hangs it up saying, “She’s the biggest thing to come out of Ireland” clarifying, “She deserves it.” Jake Paul who made a $1 million bet with Eddie Hearn, seemed to not agree with the decision in the post-fight interview, saying, “It was a draw at best.”

“Everyone knows it was a robbery”- Jake Paul Calls for Taylor-Serrano Rematch
Jake Paul took to Instagram to further their intention to rebook his client’s fight against the Undefeated Irishwomen. Sharing a clip from backstage at the event wherein Amanda can be seen in the background doing basic drills as Paul comments, “A bit of a robbery, Amanda’s already training for the rematch.”
The Influencer-turned-boxer then addressed Eddie Hearn asking him to “run it back” claiming to have no problems if the rematch were to take place in Ireland. Paul goes on to share the statistics for the fight that shows Amanda out-striking Taylor 171 to 146, captioned, “Men lie, Women Lie, Numbers Don’t.”
Jake however glances over the part of the statistic that shows 46.5% Accuracy in Taylor’s shots compared to Serrano’s 36.1%. The two women went all ten rounds with a huge round four and five for Serrano, however, the champion picked up the pace in the later round and managed to edge out a split decision victory.
Apart from promoting other fighters, Jake has also been looking for an opponent to further his 5-0 career. Currently, Mike Tyson and Michael Bisping seem to be at the top of the list.
