Jake Paul was in good spirits despite his first boxing loss against Tommy Fury yesterday. Ahead of his much-anticipated fight, rapper Drake bet a handsome amount of money on the YouTuber to beat Fury.

The Drake’s curse has been a running joke in the sports world. Several sports teams and athletes have found themselves on the losing side when they have support from the rapper. The reporters at the post-fight press conference of Paul vs Fury couldn’t help but ask Jake his thoughts on the “Drake’s curse“.

The YouTuber turned boxer had a great reply to this question. “This is Drake’s fault. Drake, why you do this to me?” joked the fighter at the press conference. “Nah, this is my fault. $400 thousand is nothing to him. So, he’s won a lot more money betting on me before so he’s probably about even now,” added Paul.

The boxer, who faced his first loss recently also promised the rapper to win him his money back in the rematch. Paul fought Fury in Saudi Arabia in a packed arena with many special guests.

The long-time rivalry between Jake Paul and Tommy Fury finally got settled yesterday. The YouTuber’s undefeated boxing streak was put to a halt by the British boxer. After 8 rounds of war, Fury edged a split decision victory against the influencer.

Several fans got together to troll the polarizing influencer for his first loss. They also could not believe that rapper Drake put his money on Jake as opposed to betting on the younger Fury brother.
