Jake Paul made a statement in his recent boxing victory over Andre August. Paul finished August with a powerful rear-right uppercut that floored August. August was unable to be on steady legs after the eight count. Republican Presidential hopeful Vivek Ramaswamy joined Paul inside the ring for the celebrations.

Paul has a cordial relationship with Ramaswamy and even endorses him. He said that Ramaswamy was the type of President that the USA needed to unite the 50 states of the country. Paul was on cloud nine after the victory and even joked with Ramaswamy. When the camera caught Ramaswamy with Paul inside the ring, he said this.

Ramaswamy laughed at the joke as Paul had his hands on Ramaswamy’s shoulder. The Indian-origin Ramaswamy remains a controversial figure even in the Republican circle. This is due to his relentless attacks on other Republican hopefuls, Nikki Haley, Ron DeSantis, and Chris Christie. Tennis icon Martina Navratilova also opposes Ramaswamy and has even trolled Jake Paul for supporting Ramaswamy.

Paul’s previous fight was against former UFC fighter Nate Diaz. He won the fight via unanimous decision. The KO against August was his first since he brutally knocked Tyron Woodley out in a rematch in December of 2021. Paul won their initial fight via split decision against the former UFC champion. Paul’s next bout is rumored to be in MMA against Nate Diaz.

With the acquisition of Bellator MMA, PFL has big things planned for 2024. One such plan is an event headlined by Francis Ngannou and Deontay Wilder in a mixed-rules fight. In the co-main event, the PFL targets the MMA debut of Jake Paul against Nate Diaz. Diaz has not responded to the idea, but Wilder and Ngannou have verbally agreed with the plan.
