“You need me”- Jake Paul declares KSI’s team contacted him to ‘help sell his fight ’ in a cryptic post
YouTube stars beef on Twitter about PPV sales
After Jake Paul tweeted offering fans the chance to win $1000 for retweeting one of his Twitter posts. KSI took a jibe at Paul by tweeting back, “Don’t think we don’t see how desperate this looks. No one cares, so you gotta pay to create hype lmao”.
The Problm Child is set to face Hasim Rahman Jr on August 6 in Madison Square Garden. Hasim is a professional boxer, unlike Paul’s other opponents. After Tommy Fury’s pulled out of the fight due to restrictions from travelling to America, Rahman Jr stepped on short notice. On the other hand, The Brit is taking on a fellow YouTuber Wassabi on August 27 in O2 Arena, London.
Both men have been rumoured to fight for a while. After Paul’s win against AnEsonGib in his professional boxing debut, Olatunji jr. entered the ring as the American called out his fellow YouTuber in January 2020. While The Brit and Paul have both fought and beaten each other’s brothers in the past, adding further fuel to the fire.
Olatunji Jr has had two fights with Jake’s older brother Logan Paul. Their first fight ended in a draw, and then in their professional debuts, The Brit took the victory via a split decision.
On the same boxing card, Paul stopped Olatunji jr’s, younger brother Deji in the fifth round despite the bout being fought in 16oz gloves and headgear.
Jake Paul humiliates The Brit with a savage reply
After tweeting back and forth the former youtube took a jab at the Youtube star after the brit criticised Paul stating, “You didn’t care about the platform that made you who you are. Constantly denouncing it.”
The Problem Child replied to the tweet shortly. He tweeted joking, “This dude is pushing 30 years old flexing his collection of YouTube channel’s”
The Brit replies back by criticising Jake that he is unable to sell fights, “All your eggs in one basket. And still can’t sell out your fight.”
The Problem Child replied to this tweet after several hours alleging that, Olatunji Jr’s team asked him to help in selling the fight, “Out of respect for Alex I won’t expose you. But you know what’s going on. You know what you and your team have asked me to do to help sell your “fight”. You need me to build your hype. I advise your opponent. Let that sink in.”
