Jake Paul believes that the Drake curse is real and asks the rapper to bet on his opponent, Mike Tyson, for their upcoming fight.

The infamous Drake’s ‘curse’ is an internet legend that’s affected a lot of sports stars. It is believed that if Drake bets on a specific athlete or team to win, the unfortunate athlete ends up losing. Till now, no athlete has broken the Drake curse. As such, Jake Paul has now requested that Drake bet on Mike Tyson for their upcoming fight in order to utilize the Drake curse in his favor.

The last athlete to fall victim to the curse was former UFC heavyweight champion, Francis Ngannou when he fought Anthony Joshua. However, Paul himself has also been a victim of the Drake curse. During an episode of his podcast ‘BS with Jake Paul,’ he stated that the curse is real. The Problem Child thus blamed his loss against Tommy Fury on the Drake curse. Subsequently, Paul stated:

I feel like it’s actually real. I think it kind of is. I’m gonna- Drake please bet on Mike for this fight. Thank you, Drake

The rapper bet $400k on Paul during the Fury fight. In addition, Drake also bet $250k on Nate Diaz during his fight with Paul, and the famous UFC fighter lost. Hence, these two instances have caused The Problem Child to believe in the internet myth.

Paul believes he needs all the luck he can get since he is going to fight the heavyweight legend. However, the 27-year-old is also brimming with a lot of confidence and believes he can win. 

Jake Paul claims to have an ‘Iron Chin’

The debate about the fight between Tyson and Paul circles the significant 31-year age gap. Hence, even though fans believe that Tyson is still a beast, his performance and endurance will be affected because of his age.

However, Paul does not believe this and has now claimed that he has an ‘iron chin’ to neutralize ‘Iron Mike’. During an episode of his podcast ‘BS with Jake Paul,’ he proclaimed that people know he can take a shot. As such, Paul believes that people are underestimating him and his ability to absorb Tyson’s power.

Subsequently, Paul did not dismiss the glory and power of the former heavyweight champion. The problem child also mentioned that Mike Tyson will be his toughest opponent, regardless of his age. Paul also announced that he looks forward to giving Tyson a death stare in the ring before their fight.
