After losing his first professional boxing fight, Jake Paul will look to bounce back against Stockton Superstar Nate Diaz on 5th August later this year. Diaz left the UFC last year after defeating Tony Ferguson in his final fight as a UFC fighter. He has been exploring his options in free agency and has found the perfect fit in Jake Paul for a boxing clash.

Jake Paul has addressed why he chose Nate Diaz to fight over someone like KSI. He said, “My last fight didn’t end the way I wanted. Now the world thinks I am vulnerable, when all I am is more focused than ever. My team wanted me to take an easy fight like KSI next, but that’s not how I am built.”

It appears that the younger Paul brother thinks that KSI is an easy fight compared to someone Diaz, a proven veteran who has fought for a UFC title in his career. For now, it looks like Paul wants to add Diaz to his collection of wins over former UFC fighters. In his last fight, Paul got outmatched by the superior skills of Tommy Fury, who used his quick jabs and movements to walk out as the winner in Saudi Arabia.

Nate Diaz has never fought in a professional boxing bout in his career. However, Diaz is known for his boxing skills, pressure and cardio during his UFC career. Fight fans will see what will transpire when both Superstars fight inside a boxing ring in August.

Former UFC fighter Diaz will make his boxing debut later this year against Jake Paul. He left the UFC at the end of last year after defeating Tony Ferguson at UFC 279. When asked about why he chose to fight Jake Paul, Diaz gave a surprising answer.

He said, “Besides Canelo, he’s the biggest thang in boxing. I’m here to conquer that. I’m the king of combat sports, and then I’m headed back to get my UFC belts. I f***ed up Conor for acting out, and now here I am again, like a superhero of the Real Fight game, the king of the Real Fight game.”

Despite stars like Tyson Fury, Gervonta Davis, Anthony Joshua and Devin Haney in the boxing world, it was surprising to hear that Nate Diaz has Jake Paul ahead of all of them. Fight fans will find out in August if Diaz can win his boxing debut against Paul.
