Jake Paul taunts Irish Fans, predicts Katie Taylor will be on a massive losing streak like Conor McGregor

Jake Paul with Amanda Serrano share a moment before the first Tyron Woodley fight

Jake Paul and Eddie Hearn were seen alongside their fighters, Amanda Serrano and Katie Taylor at the weigh-in before the historic showdown, in the “Theatre of Dreams” at the Madison Square Garden in New York. The venue that had a considerable amount of Irish fans in attendance was full of big names including a special appearance by WWE Superstar, Becky Lynch, who introduced the fighters to the stage.

Serrano who has been on a hot streak recently appearing on Jake Paul’s undercards will face off against undefeated Irish Champion Katie Taylor for the WBA, WBC. IBF, WBO, and the Ring women’s lightweight titles. Paul however believes that the “Undefeated” title next to Taylor’s name is about to vanish after she faces his fighter.

Jake Paul continues his war of words aimed at Conor McGregor

Conor McGregor has been an ardent supporter of Katie Taylor and has also been at her title-winning fight

When asked about what stood out in Amanda Serrano that made Jake Paul invest so much of his time in her future, the YouTuber-turned-boxer dismissed the question saying, “What I do have to say is I feel really bad for y’all (the Irish fans) because this is the start of Katie Taylor’s losing streak, just like Conor McGregor” handing the microphone back to the host of the event.

McGregor has been supportive of Taylor’s accomplishments often congratulating her on social media and once even visiting her while in camp. Jake has been no stranger at taking shots against McGregor hoping to secure a boxing match against the former UFC Champion.

Most famously (Or infamously) Jake took out $100,000 of his own money to make a keychain featuring McGregor, exhausted on the ground after his first-ever TKO loss against Dustin Poirier at Fight Island. The same chain was given to The Good Fight Foundation, after the trilogy bout between Poirier and McGregor.

Though Paul has managed to gain McGregor’s attention once in the past, a fight between the two seems highly unlikely owing to the difference in size alone. The same point has been made by Dana White who considers the fight to be “ridiculous”.

Amanda Serrano vs Katie Taylor for the women’s championship will be the first time a women’s fight headlines a boxing event at the Madison Square Garden. The fight is scheduled to take place this Saturday.
