Jake Paul’s mother mocks Hasim Rahman Jr for abandoning the fight Jake Paul was expected to make his return to the boxing ring on August 6 but the fighter has not been that lucky. Initially, Paul and Tommy Fury got into an agreement and decided to hold their kuch anticipated fight on August 6th inside the iconic Madison Square Garden. After everything was said and done, Fury revealed that he was stopped at the airport from boarding the plane to the US. This resulted in the fight being cancelled.
In that dire situation, Paul came out and announced that he will be taking on professional boxer, Hasim Rahman Jr who will replace Fury. It was going smooth, the press conferences were done, seats were booked, fans were excited. However, bad luck struck again.
Rahman wanted to make the fight happen at 215 pounds. But, Jake Paul and MVP decided to call off the fight citing his unprofessional attitude to make weight. It was shocking as nobody expected that to happen and it had a massive impact on Paul as well as other fighters in the fight card.

“Continually lack professionalism” – Jake Paul goes off on Hasim Rahman Jr on Twitter after their fight fell off
Paul recently broke his silence on the whole matter and made a tweet giving an update about the situation.
In the tweet, Paul mentioned that first it was Tommy Fury and now it’s Rahman Jr who failed to stay true to their words. Paul criticized them by calling the boxers hard to work with and lacking professionalism. He wrote :
“First Tommy Fumbled and now Hasim Rahman Crumbled. These boxers are the most difficult people to work with and continually lack professionalism and confidence to fight me.
I apologize to all of the other fighters on the card, our partners, our team and the fans.”
This tweet was surprisingly shared by Paul’s mother Pam Stepnick and in the caption she made fun of Rahman’s commitment. She wrote, “you’re a pussy @_HasimRahmanJr.”
It was serious as well as hilarious to see Stepnick getting into this whole thing and rightfully so, she got every reason to be mad about the situation her son will have to go through for the fight cancellation.
