Recently, fans went after Jake Paul for making unsubstantiated allegations about how much he made from PPV sales during his boxing career. Paul has fought in eight professional bouts, six being PPV. On December 15, Paul will make his ninth professional boxing appearance against Andre August at the Caribbean Royale Hotel in Orlando, Florida.

The former Disney star will fight for the first time outside of PPV territory against an American opponent who is 35 years old and has a 10-1 professional record. In a recent interview ahead of the fight, Jake Paul discussed the significance of facing an experienced fighter like August. Furthermore, Paul discussed the significance of the bout not being PPV and stated that he did not become a boxer to make money. This is what Paul stated:

I generated $250 million in pay-per-view revenue. So, that's cool, but money doesn't create a legacy.
