Jake Paul returned to the ring against Ryan Bourland, the former Golden Gloves champion. However, the fight didn’t last as long as fans thought it would and swiftly ended in the first round. Furthermore, this was Paul’s 10th professional fight, and he extended his record to 9-1 with 6 KOs. While the fight ended swiftly, Paul’s pre-fight ritual inside his locker room gained the attention of fans.
The social media account Betr shared a clip of Jake Paul practicing a breathing exercise with a singer by his side one day before the fight. However, Betr shared another video of Paul doing the same exercise inside his locker room. Paul appears to be in a meditation state and a trance. The singer beside him sang to tune his focus. In addition, background music can be heard in the video, which is also intended to help Paul meditate.
Paul is known for being very energetic, so he wasn’t expected to sit and meditate. Furthermore, this side of Paul may have emerged, especially after the spiritual journey that he experienced while visiting the Amazon rainforest.
After Paul consumed ayahuasca tea, he had a spiritual journey where he discovered his destiny. As seen in his pre-fight meditation, Paul has maintained his connection with his spiritual side. However, fans could not help but feel unsettled and shared their wild ideas about the pre-fight ritual.

We all know Paul’s antics are always unpredictable and difficult to expect. However, since he won his fight against Bourland, it can be assumed that his pre-fight meditation worked. Whether he won the fight because of the mediation is debatable, but Paul’s fans had some pretty wild ideas about what he was doing.
