Ahead of his fight with Canelo Alvarez, Jermell Charlo has expressed his desire to fight and KO Terence Crawford.

Canelo Alvarez is set to take on Jermell Charlo in a huge super middleweight bout. Canelo is the division’s reigning king, and Charlo is moving up in weight to challenge him. Subsequently, it might sound like a bad idea, but Charlo apparently has a few tricks to secure the win.

As the 33-year-old continued to work diligently, he recognized Terence Crawford‘s presence as something difficult to overlook. Furthermore, the four-weight champion did the unthinkable when Crawford KO Charlo’s close friend Errol Spence Jr. In an interview with Million Dollaz Worth of Game, Charlo quite boldly said, “I want to knock Crawford out.” The two of them are on a collision course, but a simple win over Crawford won’t just make Charlo happy.

Furthermore, the only thing that would make him happy is if Crawford stared at the ceiling after their fight. Subsequently, Charlo mentioned that he does not like Crawford inside or outside the ring and somehow gets under Charlo’s skin.  Charlo has 35-1-1 with 19 knockouts, and in recent years, Charlo has developed a habit of naming his top opponents.

Furthermore, in addition to taking on Crawford, he has also named Tim Tszyu as a potential opponent in the future. Charlo remains confident about defeating Crawford and indicated that he was not overlooking Canelo.

Canelo Alvarez agrees to potentially fight Terence Crawford

Crawford recently expressed his desire to fight Canelo at 168 lbs even though he will be the smaller fighter comparatively. However, even with the difference in weight, ‘Bud’ wants to fight Canelo if he defeats Charlo.

Canelo Alvarez responded by saying that people don’t really give a fighter credit if he fights lighter-weight fighters. Furthermore, he stated that no one would credit him if he beat someone from the lower-weight classes. However, Canelo later changed his stance and decided to entertain a bout with Crawford. Boxing fans are now hyped because a dream fight could happen,

Furthermore, the Alvarez vs. Charlo fight winner will probably face Crawford because Charlo has also called him out.  This has further hyped-up fans waiting in anticipation for the results of the fight between Alvarez and Charlo.
