“Me and you will fight straight after,” John Fury makes WILD call out to Mike Tyson on press conference stage to brawl after Fury vs Ngannou boxing match

On October 28th the crossover boxing match between Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou will take in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Ngannou, the former UFC heavyweight champion, will face the WBC heavyweight champion, Fury, in a 10-round bout.
The pre-match press conference concluded with a focus on Fury’s father, John Fury, and former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson. Never one to stay out of the limelight, the older Fury was the talk of the room again, claiming his son was the top heavyweight in the world. Subsequently, he went on to openly praise his son and dismiss any possibility of Ngannou winning the bout. In addition, John stated:
If I'm wrong, me and you will fight straight after. Me and the great Mike Whatever the outcome, me and you will fight. Get up there, my brother.
Throughout the press conference, John was persistent in demanding a fight with “Iron Mike”. After being repeatedly asked to fight, Tyson “agreed” to the challenge. Mike continued to taunt John by getting on his nerves by stating that Ngannou would win.
However, when it was time for John’s and Tyson’s final statements, things got heated because of Fury’s exit message. Furthermore, even though John is calling out Mike for a fight, he has immense respect for him and named his son after Mike.
John Fury is banned from the USA
John, Tyson Fury’s father, has been banned from the United States. This occurred after John pleaded guilty to a 2011 incident in which he caused another man’s blindness.
In 2011, he went to a car auction and punched a man in the eye. As such, he was sentenced to 11 years in prison but was let out in 2015. John’s currently living in the UK, but because of his history of violence, he’s not allowed to enter the US.
At the age of 58, the renowned trainer of brothers Tyson and Tommy Fury has established himself as one of the most prominent figures in the sport. Both of his sons have achieved success in the boxing world.
John is mainly known for his work as a trainer for Tommy and Tyson. However, he’s never been able to make it to any of Tyson’s big fights that have taken place in the US.
