A fight with Conor McGregor will change the life of most fighters. There is no fighter as famous as him today. Professionals from UFC and other combat sports only dream of the money fight. YouTuber turned boxer KSI was lucky when McGregor called him out. The call-out happened after the post-fight speech of Anthony Joshua vs. Robert Helenius. KSI used the call-out to mock Jake Paul, who has been calling McGregor out for years. Paul has pursued a boxing bout with McGregor since the start of his boxing career.

“Jake Paul must be crying that I’ve got Connor on my d**k already and I didn’t even have to fight an MMA fighter,” KSI wrote on his Twitter. Jake Paul has been unsuccessful in taunting McGregor to fight. KSI, widely known as a YouTube celebrity, has fought in multiple exhibition bouts. Professionally, he has fought and beaten Logan Paul. Besides his remarkable UFC career, McGregor has professionally boxed only once. He fought boxing legend Floyd Mayweather and lost in his debut.

KSI and the Paul brothers have a history together. KSI first fought Logan in an amateur bout in 2018. The two again met in a professional fight in 2019, where KSI defeated the elder Paul brother. Since then, Jake has vowed to avenge his brother’s loss. Logan and KSI, however, have a good relationship today. The duo owns Prime, a sports drink company that become highly successful.

In October this year, KSI will face Tommy Fury in a fight card sponsored by Prime. Fury became the first fighter to defeat Jake Paul in a boxing bout. Fury and KSI will be on the same fight card as Logan Paul and Dillon Danis.

KSI remains confident to beat Tommy Fury

After facing many fighters in exhibition matches, KSI will fight an experienced professional in Tommy Fury. Fury has an undefeated professional record of 9 wins and no losses. His last win over Jake Paul helped him attain global popularity. On the other hand, KSI has fought professionally only once before. This came against Logan Paul in 2019, which he won on the scorecard.

Tommy is the half-brother of Heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury. Like his brother, he is a ruthless fighter. He broke Paul’s winning streak in his last fight. KSI will have his hands full when he fights Fury later this year. Whether it was an exhibition match or not, he has always dominated his opponents.

The fight is scheduled to happen on the 14th of October this year. The two will be fighting at cruiserweight. The fight card will also include Logan Paul and Dillon Danis.
